Welcome to Real-Spain

My 1965 Mustang Fastback ... Shelby GT350 Clone

This vehicle has been fully restored.

The V8 289ci has been rebuilt with: Edelbrock Performer RPM Cylinder Heads , RPM air-gap intake manifold, CompCams hydraulic roller cam , roller rockers, Eagle I-beam rods, Keith Black pistons, Quick Fuel Brawler carburettor, MSD Pro-billet distributor with MSD AL6 control unit, aluminum radiator ... and so on ... with invoices for everthing.

It has undergone a complete metalware restoration and rebuild 12 years ago with new rear quarter panels, outer rear wheel wells and trunk floor, trunk filler panel and front cowl panels. This was followed by a superb paint job in Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue Le Mans stripes.

The car has all new wiring, new Shelby exhaust system with side exit pipes, new Flaming River steering box, 16-inch "torque thrust II" wheels with Michelin Pilot tires, Wilwood competition ventilated brake discs, four-speed "top loader"gearbox with a competition clutch .

The engine has been totally rebuilt, as can be seen above .. the gearbox and limited slip diff have been recently rebuilt and a new aluminium drive shaft fitted.

The interior has a wood rim Moto Lita steering wheel, Shelby style wide seatbelts, centre dash pod with rev counter and oil pressure gauges and Hurst Competition shifter.

The car performs really well using its 400+ BHP to get you off the mark rapidly and the uprated springs together with the "Shelby Drop", the thicker front roll bar and the Koni adjustable shocks make the car handle well too.

This car will turn heads ... although you can hear it coming !!

The car is now in the UK on UK plates. As you can see from the photos, the car has been in sunny Spain for the past 20+ years that I have owned it for. I have enjoyed both working on it and driving it and has been used on several Costa Blanca rallies and at Valencia circuit. Now I have reluctantly decided that I need to sell the car due to health issues.
